New York Council for the Humanities
This program is part of the 2002 State Humanities Month, a celebration of the state's cultural riches sponsored each October by the New York Council for the Humanities. The Council is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the presence of the humanities in New York State's cultural and intellectual life. The Council's grants program provides financial support for public humanities programming conceived and implemented by not-for-profit organizations across the state.
